you will find all sorts of information. If you click on
the college logo above you will be taken to the College
of Lake County web site.
Please
note the important dates section of the site above. Here
is listed the dates for all projects that are due, class
quizzes, midterms and finals. Students are expected to
turn in all projects on time. Projects turned in late
loose a whole grade for each day that they are late.
Below
the important date panel there are various links to Quark
XPress Internet resources. Want to know all of the keyboard
shortcuts for Quark? Click on the Quark XPress Tech Information
link above.
The
Quark XTensions link will take you to Quark's XTension's
page where you can find out more about what an XTension
is and how they add additional functionality to Quark
XPress.
The
Quark Resources link will take you to a page that were
put together that has links to sites that are interesting
or insightful to either the design process or Quark XPress.
I will be adding to this as I find information that might
be enlightening in some way.
On
the links to the left you will find class information
categorized by class date. This is where you will find
your reading assignments, review sheets as well as your
extra credit questions.
I
will also place links to what I like to call "Internet
field trips" these are links that are pertinent to
the class each week. These articles are vital to understanding
how to complete your design review.
All
handouts are available in pdf format for download. Adobe
created the pdf format as part of their Adobe Acrobat
program. The file was created to be compatible with Adobe
Acrobat Reader. In case you don't have the Acrobat reader
(which will let you open and view the files) you can download
it for free by clicking on this
link.
